Less Weight. Engineered mesh offers improved comfort and a disappearing feel on your foot. It helps reduce the weight of the shoe while supplying a more consistent fit. And we reduced the size of the heel and tongue, saving even more weight.
Light Feel. See how the midsole bulges out by the heel? Nike designed it that way to help reduce weight on the inside of the foot to give you a more stable ride. Nike reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3. You still get the same reliability, just without any unnecessary thickness.
What's New About the Vaporfly 4? Nike took a race-car approach when updating the Vaporfly 4, making many minor tweaks so you can pursue major gains. They trimmed weight in the midsole, outsole and upper without sacrificing performance.
