Instead of starting from the basketball court like previous Kobe Protros, the 2026 Year of the Horse edition uses materials to tell a new story for the performance shoe classic. Unlike the original , this EXT version leans into texture and restraint. A Light Orewood Brown suede upper establishes a muted base, while molded overlays reinforce structure across the toe and eyelets. Baroque Brown pony hair Swooshes and lining add depth, giving the silhouette a tactile, almost heritage feel.
